Remember how much fun we had last year?

Well, it’s almost that time again. In case you didn’t make it last year, Cranksgiving is pretty much like a normal alleycat race, except the checkpoints are mostly grocery-selling establishments, and your proof-of-passage is the grocery item you purchase from that establishment. Then we donate the whole lot to the Tarrant Area Food Bank.
It is a race, so there are some prizes, but you don’t have to be racing to participate. The only requirement is that you be willing to have a fun afternoon on your bike while simultaneously doing something nice for folks who could use a helping hand. I think that pretty much covers everyone.
So, Saturday, November 19 at 3 p.m. Be here with your bike, a bag or grocery-carrying-apparatus of some sort, and something to write with.
If you’ve got any more questions, see last year’s FAQ.
Last year we raised about 400 lbs of non-perishables… let’s see if we can top that this year!
