At Trinity Bicycles, we aim to be a hub for folks who commute by bicycle in and around Fort Worth.
That doesn’t just mean that we have the best selection of practical, durable commuter bikes (although we do). It doesn’t just mean that we carry fenders, racks, quality lighting systems, rain gear, bike luggage, and all the other accessories you need to travel by bike (though we do that too). Nor does it just mean that we are experienced bike commuters who can give you advice on how to get started (though we will).
What it means is we’re committed to helping people in Fort Worth make more trips by bike and/or transit instead of by car. To that end, we’ve made some special accommodations for our new shop, like:
- Location. We are located within two blocks of the Trinity Railway Express T&P Station, and on a major bus route into downtown.
- Commuter-Friendly Hours. We’re open earlier and longer than any bike shop in town, because we think you should be able to get your bike needs filled on your schedule, not ours.
- Bike Parking. We offer free, indoor bike parking for folks who are commuting to the TRE or downtown.
- Showers. For those with longer commutes, we have showers available to give you a place to clean up before work in those hot summer months. Bring your own towel, or rent one of ours for $1.
- Same Day Bike Repair. In most cases, if you let us know ahead of time (so that we can be sure to have any necessary parts on hand), we can complete your bike repair or maintenance the same day, so your bike will be ready to ride home.
So whether you’re an experienced commuter, a longtime cyclist considering commuting, or a newcomer to cycling altogether, come see us today. We can help.
Super great concept minus the fact that I’m 30 miles away! Lol.. ill pay a visit once I’m in that area
As part of a bet I have been riding a bike as my primary mode of transportation since December and love it. I got rid of the car with payments and purchased a smaller car with cash to use on bad weather days. Personally I have saved well over $5oo per month in payments, insurance, gas and maintenance. It’s a lifestyle change at 43 that I’m glad I made.
Bike commuting is the way to go. It’s too bad I don’t work downtown.
It is really cool that you offer some of the best services! Great going guys!!
Peace
what can i say, other shops keep tourist hours and seem to merely tolerate commuters. great job on that 1. also tnp station and bus transfer is a half block away and in a free zone into downtown. this means park and ride. park in the morning at your shop and ride in to work downtown for free and back to the shop for free also. 247 commuter here making it at harris sandwich shop 5min commute on my ss/bullhorn bars/coaster brakes/20 pounds “oso”. i can be seen any given day jumping the speed bumps under the cooks tunnel on terrel (trying not to hit the old lady in a wheel chair.)
Just checking out the shops I’ll be visiting next week on Bike Retailer’s D-FW Dealer Tour. Love your shop concept! and look forward to meeting y’all on Wednesday.
BTW, looking around Trinitybikes, while us MTB “pioneers” did hitch the occasional ride up the mountain, we often pounded those old one-speed “Excelsior” sleds to the top. Part of the ethic–ride where ya go.
Dig the primary graphic element in the logo for this year’s annual conference of the Congress for New Urbanism… That ain’t no automobile wheel! Roll on!

I live and work in Irving but do commute by bicycle. I regularly take the train to Ft. Worth to ride the Trails to Benbrook and back. I did not know you guys were so close. I will have to remember that. I plan on tackling some touring later this next year. I maybe in for advice and talk bikes..
My husband commutes by bicycle and passes through downtown. A couple times he’s had issues and walked the rest of the way home. I’ll make sure he knows where you’re located so he can stop in if he has trouble. So glad to know where you’re located!
We went completely car free last May and love it! As a family we will be ditching our car at the end of this summer and commuting by bicycle and mass transit exclusively until winter when we’ll pick up a beater for inclement weather days. I’m sure we’ll be popping in to see you soon.
I bought my ICE Trike from Mike at CityCyclest last summer. I did not see any ICE trikes on your list. Do you work on ICE Trikes, and if so do I need to make an appointment to have some minor tune-up work completed?
Thanks
Ric
You guys rock. I live in Mansfield and work in Fort Worth. I dream of a day when communiting via bike is a reality. Even at 30-miles, it is a complicated route. With a store and services like yours we should all feel blessed and fortunate to have access to you. I also need to bring my bike in to get some “tweaking” done. Soon!
Will the sundance square location offer similar commuter hub options (shower, bike locker) even if on a membership basis? Very excited as there wasn’t a lot of great options outside of a Y membership which isn’t extremely close to the DR Horton tower I am in.
Hi Nathan- we won’t be able to have showers right away, but it’s something we would love to add if the demand is enough to justify the cost. We will endeavor to have some bike parking for you, an lockers aren’t a bad idea either. Would you still use a locker if there was no shower?
Bernie, great website. One of the best I’ve seen. By the way, you have a great store.
Good luck on you new location in Sundance Square in downtown Fort Worth. I know you (pl.) will do well.
